How to use an Amiga emulator ?

1. First, you need the emulator. Download the WinUAE emulator.

2. You need a file called kickstart to run the amiga emulator. There are two ways to obtain a kickstart legally. The first way, is to own an amiga and get the kickstart out of it or obtain it from a legal source. The second is to buy the Amiga Forever Package. The Amiga Forever Package will contain WinUAE which is in step one. I do not support the use of illegal kickstarts in any way.

3. You need the game itself as rom file. Note that you have to buy the game to make it legal for you to download the rom game file. I do not support the use of illegal roms in any way.

4. Download the configuration files for the WinUAE.

5. Install WinUAE. Put the configuration files in the ..\WinUAE\Configurations folder. Start WinUAE. Then click the Configuration you want (i.g Amiga 600), Then Click Load. Point WinUAE to the location of the kickstart file. Choose the rom files as floppies. Click OK and your virtual Amiga will start.

6. The rom files I'm talking about is not the kickstart. it's the game file. Don't be confused because the kickstar file might have .rom extension.
